On April 12, 2019, the Department of theory and practice of foreign languages took part in the XIV International scientific conference of students and young scientists "Science and education-2019" and heard presentations of students and undergraduates at the section "Innovative technologies in professional training of young people in the system of foreign language education".

April 5, 2019 at the Eurasian National University L.N. Gumilyov at the Department of Kazakh literature at the Faculty of Philology in the framework of the Decade of Science organized a scientific seminar "The value of unpublished scientific works of Academician Z. Akhmetov."
