Philology Students Professional Practice
Professional practice of students of the specialties 6B01718 - "Russian Language and Literature" and 6B02306 - "Philology: Russian Language" is a part of the educational program of higher professional education.
The purpose of the practice is to consolidate the theoretical and deepen the practical knowledge gained in the process of studying at the university.
In accordance with the state compulsory education standards, various types of professional practice are provided:
- folklore practice, which has educational, scientific and applied value. Student collecting work contributes to the replenishment of the folklore archives of the departments with new materials.
- dialectological practice is designed to consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained in lectures and seminars on the course "Russian dialectology", and also allows you to deepen the linguistic knowledge of students in the course of direct observation of the natural functioning of the language.
- pedagogical practice is one of the forms of preparing a future teacher for professional activity, independent pedagogical work.
The student-trainee, observing and analyzing the multifaceted pedagogical process, reveals the interconnections and essential aspects of this process, deepens and concretizes the theoretical knowledge obtained at the university in the psychological and pedagogical disciplines, special and social sciences.
- industrial practice contributes to the acquisition of experience, practical skills of future specialists, which are necessary to complete the formation of the majority of general cultural, general professional and professional competencies in the field of pedagogical activity.
- language practice is carried out for students in specialties who train personnel with knowledge of languages and with a multilingual education, organized from the second year and depending on the specialty until the graduation of students.
- pre-diploma practice of graduate students-philologists is an integral part of the main educational program of higher professional education. This type of practice is designed to consistently and in a certain system combine the theoretical training of students with their practical activities.
The volume of practice, its goals, objectives, content are determined in accordance with the requirements of the educational standard and the educational program for the training profiles 5B011800 - "Russian Language and Literature" and 5B020524 - "Philology: Russian Language".
The start and end date of the practice is set by the schedule of students' professional practices in accordance with the working curriculum.
To carry out pedagogical practice, agreements on joint activities were concluded with educational institutions of Astana: Gymnasium School No. 22, Secondary School No. 37, Gymnasium School No. 5, Lyceum School "Kazgarysh", Lyceum School No. 54, Lyceum School No. 28, Gymnasium School No. 31, as well as the Branch of the Public Foundation «N. Nazarbayev Education Foundation Miras School».
Students undergo industrial practice in the state institution "National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan" of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC "Republican Newspaper Kazakhstanskaya Pravda", in addition, a Memorandum on field practice was signed with the Tula State Pedagogical University (Russia, Tula).
For several decades, the department has produced many talented students who have found themselves both in pedagogical work and in journalism, art, and administrative work. More than half of the members of the department are graduates of previous years, and this is a very good indicator of work. Among the alumni we are proud of are:

Organizations whose statutory activities correspond to the training profile of the specialty "6B01718 - Russian Language and Literature", "6B02306 - Philology: Russian Language" and the requirements of the educational program are defined as the basis for conducting the practice of students.
