In 2017, a Head of the Department of Foreign languages of the Faculty of Philology, an associate professor Jannat Elemesovna Sagimbayeva and Master of Pedagogy, senior teacher of the Department of Foreign languages of the Faculty of Philology Tazhitova Gulzhakhan Zarubayevna were awarded honorary certificates of the Minister of education in appreciation of personal contribution to the development of the educational system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In April 2016, the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology was acknowledged as the best department for the quality of information posted on the university's website and was awarded with the diploma of the Rector of L.N. Gumilyev Eurasian National University.
In May 2016, the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, associate professor Sagimbayeva Jannat Elemessovna won in the contest "20 best works for the 20th anniversary of the L.N. In 2020 February 28, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian university, the Department of foreign languages of the Philological faculty together with the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of International Relations, sponsored by "Inter press Distribution" LLP and the US Embassy, held the International Olympiad in Foreign Languages, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great poet, writer, public figure, founder of modern Kazakh written literature Abai Kunanbayuly, for 1-5 year student of non-linguistic specialties of universities of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad.

In November, 2021, under the guidance of senior teacher Niyazbekova Akmaral Artykbayevna and a team of students of a non-linguistic specialty received 3rd place in the nomination "For a creative approach to developing a business concept for a restaurant" in the second international Olympiad "Economics through the prism of the English language".

By the concept of lifelong learning (lifelong education), the State Program for the Development of Education and Science (2020-2025) of the Republic of Kazakhstan it is planned to develop a mechanism to create "Silver Universities". L.N. Gumilyov ENU implements the social project "Silver University" within the framework of the Concept of Lifelong Learning. To preserve the social and labor activity of older people, their cognitive abilities, psychological and physical health, and most importantly, in our opinion, the formation of a positive vision of the active aging model in society is to provide learning opportunities through educational technologies.
