According to the tradition of the university, in the first days of September, an adaptation week is held at L.N. Gumilyov ENU for 1st year students of all faculties. At this time, various events are planned: a meeting with the rector of the university, acquaintance with the faculty, with the audience of the department, with an individual curriculum. Also, these days, acquaintance with the resources and services of the scientific library of the university is provided. 09/05/2022 head of the scientific and methodological department Dosova A.N. conducted a tour of the library for students of the FL-14 group of the Faculty of Philology (curator Latanova R.U.), where students learned a lot of interesting things about the information, educational, cultural and spiritual center. The book fund of the scientific library has more than 1.5 million textbooks, periodicals, dissertations, manuals in many languages. The employees spoke about the rules for using the library, about electronic resources, how to quickly find the right source. The students were especially interested in the work of the Inclusive Information Resource Center and the American Corner with the Maker Space Center. The tour impressed the students, was useful and interesting.
