The XXII international scientific conference "Russian Studies and modernity''

On October 4-6, 2019, the XXII international scientific conference "Russian Studies and modernity" was held at Astrakhan state University (Russia), which is annually held under the auspices of the International Association of teachers of Russian language and literature (MAPRYAL). It should be noted that the Department of Russian Philology of L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian national University under the guidance of doctor of Philology, Professor Nurgali K. R. is one of the organizers of this prestigious scientific event. This time the conference hospitably opened its doors in Astrakhan.

 

 

At the plenary session the welcoming words of the rector of Astrakhan state University Markelov K. A., acting Minister of Education and science of Astrakhan region Gutman V. A., Dean of Philology and journalism of ASU Kasyanova L. Yu. aroused immediate interest scientific reports of the participants, among which especially distinguished performances of the organizers of the conference "Russian Studies and modernity" Lysakova I. P., Stepanov E. N., Arkhangelsk E. M., Chapig A. Actual problems of the Russian language were raised in the reports of doctors of Philology, teachers of Astrakhan and Kuban universities Agleeva Z. R. and Buyanova L. Yu.

All the conference work was organized in seven sections: "Current trends in contemporary linguistics", "Modern strategies for intercultural communication", "Comparative linguistics in a multi-ethnic region", "Tradition and innovation in the practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language", "Problems of formation of productive bilingualism in polyethnic region", "Teaching Russian literature in a foreign language audience", "Dynamic processes in the language of Russian mass communication." Speakers came from all over the world: teachers-philologists from Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Riga, Kazakhstan, China, Mali, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan – such is the wide geographical coverage of the conference participants who shared their scientific ideas, experience of teaching Russian language and literature both in their native and foreign language audience.

The Department of Russian Philology of ENU and the faculty of Philology and journalism of Astrakhan state University have a warm and friendly relationship. An agreement was reached on the issues of academic mobility of students, double-degree education programs.
