Winter Fairy Tale

A wonderful holiday “Winter Fairy Tale” was held on February 6, 2020 at the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty of Philology. Why did everyone remember this holiday? Because not only students, but also teachers of the department and foreign specialists such as Kebir Mohammed Jemal, English teacher, department volunteer, Jose Humberto Baesa Estrada, certified foreign teacher of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, Jacob Levitan, English teacher language, volunteer of the department, Giulio Scerbo, professor of Italian at ENU from the Italian Embassy in Kazakhstan, Julio Pedro Sanchez, teacher of Spanish at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of International Relations took part in it.

 

 

Welcome word was pronounced by the dean of the faculty A. Beisenbay. The concert program was very rich: video congratulations of foreign colleagues in carnival costumes, in a relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly - in different languages ​​- Swahili, Spanish, English, German, French, Japanese, Indian, Italian. Students were happy to recognize their favorite teachers. The student from Kyrgyzstan, Bekmatova Meerim, took an active part in the program with the song “Zhakshi soz acai”, which arrived at ENU under the academic mobility program. Kazakh dance performed by the soloists of the ENU Samruk dance school (Utepova Anel and Mustekova Aizhan), playing the first-year student Ulagata, a cheerful student dance from FL -23, playing the piano and Mongolian student’s song Zhanarbek Lashyn, beautiful song “Solay ma? ”performed by Gulbarshyn Kenbay (FL -37), acapella of group FL-32, beautiful encore of songs from the Beatles group’s repertoire - Tokhtarova Didara (FL -43), Daniil Koshkin, breaking the applause due to his wonderful voice - has long been a favorite of all students - such was the repertoire of holiday concert. And where is the fairy tale? And the fairy tale was a surprise and it was called “Red boots”. Artists - teacher of the department Evgenia Aleksandrovna Verba, students of FL-42 group: Anastasia Grigoryeva, Karina Baigozhina, first-year undergraduate Saken Karakozov, third-year students Aukenova Aigerim, Kabdy Syrbai kept on the stage quite professionally. Perfectly selected slides, screensavers were successfully matched to each issue and fabulous scenes. The final of the holiday was a flash mob with the participation of all the heroes of a fairy tale and a volunteer from Ethiopia - English teacher Kebir Mohammed Dzhemal.

Spectators and participants of the festive extravaganza traditionally photographed, danced on stage. And indeed, representatives of not only different countries, but also continents - Asia, Africa and Europe took part in the Winter tale.
