Meeting at Sharaf Rashidov Samarkand State University

 

Professors of the Department of Kazakh Literature of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Doctor of Philology Aimukhambet Zhanat Askerbekkyzy, Candidate of Philological Sciences Baitanassova Karlygash Medetkyzy and Aituganova Saulesh Shamshakyzy, met with students (BA students, undergraduates) of the specialty of Uzbek philology of Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov.

 

The meeting was organized by Doctor of Philology, Professor, Director of the Research Center "Cultural and Literary Heritage of the Peoples of the Great Silk Road" of the University Erkin Rabbimogly Mussurmanov, on the recommendation of the administration of Samarkand State University.

 

During the meeting, Zh.A.Aimukhambet told about the history, achievements and indicators of the Eurasian National University, she also spoke in detail about the goals of their visit to Samarkand, as well as the place of the historical city in the Turkic world. In her speech, the professor noted that during a scientific trip to study the historical toponymy of the Great Silk Road at the junction of sciences, they carried out an in-depth acquaintance with the history of Samarkand.

 

Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor K. M. Baitanassova told about the organization of research work at the Eurasian National University, as well as the scientific work of students. She mentioned that students of this university can also take part in such scientific events in the future.

 

 

 

Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor S.Sh.Aitughanova told about the educational programs, specialties, and she focused on the content of education in bachelor's degree, master's degree in Kazakh philology and Kazakh language and literature.

 

The students asked questions concerning the scope of the Kazakh language, the study of the literature of the peoples of Turkic origin, Turkic mythology, the history of the Kazakh and Uzbek peoples. This visit shows that the connection between universities, the implementation of the academic mobility program between these two universities especially attracts students.
