3 Dec 2012 an educational event on the theme "the Legacy of Kemenger akyn" dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbaiuly was organized by Phd, associate professorof foreign languages Department Kurmanayeva D. K. and the master of pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer Nurpeissova A. H.
The event was held with the participation of 1st year students of the following groups PGS-11 and Sib-11. Moderators and speakers were students of 1 course Rysaliev Kaisar, Khusainova Arailym, Makhambet Naris, Sarsembekova Dilnaz, Terekhanova Aidan,Tempus Ayman.
Dina Kassymbekovna made a welcoming speech and introduced the participants of the event.
A video about the poet, philosopher, educator and public figure Abay Kunanbayev was presented by the students ' own accompaniment in English. At the end of the video, the students presented the theme "the Legacy of the great poet".
Tampas Ayman talked about his childhood and family of the poet. Sarsembekova Dilnaz told about the work and knowledge of Abay Kunanbayev. Makhambet Naris told about museums, streets and monuments dedicated to Abay Kunanbayev.
At the end of the event, a quiz was held among students, which consisted of 4 blocks: Personal life, creativity, close people and around the world, presented on the site www.superteachertools.us/
