On April 26, 2023 the Public speaking contest was held at FL theory and practice department under the leadership of senior lecturer Anasheva D.K., with the participation of the 3rd year students from groups FL-31, FL-32, FL-34, FL-35.
As a jury a foreign English teacher of FL theory and practice department August Garsney, senior lecturer of the department Latanova R.U., master student Karimov Chingiz were invited for this contest "The best public speaker".
The aim of the given event was to depict the students' ability to speak publicly in English, to impart knowledge and broaden their horizons.
12 students from groups FL-31, FL-32, FL-34, FL-35 demonstrated their profound knowledge and skills of expressing their thoughts, arguments in English. Their speeches were quite convincing, unequivocal and distinct, they illustrated fluency in English, therefore it was rather difficult for the jury to choose the 3 best speakers. After the discussion, the students listened to the lecturers' feedback. As a result of discussion, the 1st place was awarded to Arna Omurzakova, the 2nd place to Zhuldyz Dospolova, the 3rd place to Dariga Karimova. The contest was conducted in amicable atmosphere and aroused great interest among the 3rd year students.
