On January 30, 2021, at the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, a regular meeting of the department was held in virtual mode on the corporate platform of the Microsoft Teams University. The first online meeting at the department was held on March 14, 2020 based on the free Skype software application.
All full-time teachers took part in the meeting of the department. On the agenda were such important issues as the report on the work of the educational-methodical seminar of the department for the 1st half of the year and the work plan of the educational-methodical seminar of the department for the 2nd half of the 2020-2021 academic year; the report on the activities of the scientific seminar of the department for the 1st half of the year and the work plan of the scientific seminar of the department for the 2nd half of the 2020-2021 academic year; the results of the republican subject Olympiad in English in the IELTS format among schoolchildren of the 10th and 11th grades of the Republic of Kazakhstan; on ensuring the necessary conditions for compliance with the norms of the IES on the territory of the university during the period of organizing training in the traditional format; results of the winter session of the 2020-2021 academic year; admission of 1st year students on additional grants of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and preparation of the department for holding international conferences of the department in 2021.
At the meeting of the department, the textbook of acting was also considered. Professor Zhusupova R.F. and touched upon the organization and conduct of professional practice for undergraduate students at host bases.
The meeting of the department ended with solemn congratulations of the teachers - holders of the grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The best teacher of the university - 2020" Akynova D.B. and Niyazova A.E. Once again, we congratulate our colleagues on such high recognition of their professional activity.
