On September 19, 2020, a virtual meeting with 1st year undergraduates of the educational program "7М01719 - Foreign language: two foreign languages" was held. The meeting was chaired by the head of the department Beisembaeva Zh.A. and adviser of magistracy Beisenbaeva L.Zh.
Admission to the magistracy of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages in 2020 was 121 students: 120 undergraduates of the scientific and pedagogical direction and 1 undergraduate of the profile direction. Master's students are formed into 6 academic groups and a separate academic stream with English as the language of instruction.
At the meeting with the undergraduates, the issues of organizing the educational process, the schedule of classes, working out the state grant, the formation of academic debts, obtaining a scholarship, etc. The undergraduates asked questions, which the head of the department adviser tried to answer in full format.
The virtual department was created on the initiative of the university leadership and holds meetings with students 3 times a week according to the schedule indicated on the website of the philological faculty
