In December 2021, acting Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Philology, L.N. Gumilyov ENU, PhD Aydin Aldaberdikizi and teacher, Master Murzagulova Ayazhan held an event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the poet Mukagali Makatayev.
The poet was born on February 9, 1931 in the village of Karasaz, Narynkol region. Few of the Kazakhs today do not know the village in which he sang "Kairan Karasazym-ai", and later became the song of the singer Ramazan Stamgaziev.
Although he wrote: "When will my epic end?", We see that the epic of the poet, who has not received recognition in his life, is now endless. To this day, the people's respect for the poet's work has not diminished. This is evidenced by the fact that today the poet's poems, works and thoughts are published in the form of a new book.
