According to the approved work plan of the school of pedagogical skills for young teachers of the Faculty of Philology, the teacher of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation, Masters A.N. Kaltenova and A.S. Beibitova hosted a webinar on the topic “TED Subtitling Using the Amara Platform”. During the webinar, Beibitov A.S. made a presentation on the TED platform, creating subtitles for videos, translations on this site. Further, a colleague of Kaltenov A.N. demonstrated in practice the creation of subtitles from English into Russian and answered questions from teachers.
Colleagues-teachers noted that the topic of the webinar was very interesting, informative, and also useful.
