On January 20, 2022 lecturer, MA, Yevgeniya A. Verba held a webinar for teachers and graduate students on how to write IELTS essays. During the webinar the lecturer presented key information about the structure and requirements of IELTS Writing Task 2, providing explanation of assessment criteria and suggesting an effective strategy to approach this task. Yevgeniya A. Verba introduced the 5 types of IELTS essays and dwelt on the structure of each. In addition, the speaker offered a number of writing tips and shared a set of useful resources for IELTS preparation. At the end, the participants expressed their gratitude to the lecturer for the informative and productive webinar.
