On April 17, 2020, a lecturer of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages of the Philological Faculty of the L.N. Gumilyev ENU Aldaberdikyzy A. held an event dedicated to the fight against corruption according to the plan of the department. The event was held in the form of an online conversation with students during which a lecturer made a presentation on the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on corruption, types of corruption and methods for preventing and combating corruption. Students actively answered questions and expressed their views on corruption in modern Kazakhstan and offered their methods of dealing with it. It is encouraging that students condemn corruption in all its manifestations and seek to prevent this disease of society. Students also unanimously agreed that it was necessary to arm ourselves with knowledge in order to be able to confront this evil.
