Students promote friendship

On April 26, 2023, the Department of Practical Kazakh Language held a festive and educational event «Birlik ayasynda» («Within the framework of unity») with students of different nationalities studying at the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Natural Sciences of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The event was attended by 1st year students of the specialties «Philology of a Foreign Language», «Philology of the Chinese Language», «Philology of the Russian Language», «Biotechnology and Plants", as well as «Geography», where the associate professors of the above department Otelbai Gulbayra and Ashenova Altynai teach.

The peculiarity of this meeting was that students studying in different specialties, as representatives of other nationalities, enriched the audience with cognitive information. As a result, our youth of the Uzbek, Uighur, Tajik, Ukrainian, Korean, Tatar, German diaspora of the Faculty of Philology, compared the sphere of knowledge and science, culture, as well as the history, traditions and cuisine of the ethnic groups of Kazakhstan, also described the coat of arms, flag, national clothes and the capital of their historical homeland.

For example, they presented the following countries:

2 Akhmadov Abbos, Bazarbaev Bauyrzhan, Kenesbaev Аlibek - Tajikistan,

3 Syzdykov Ansar, Asatova Korkem - Germany,

4 Kim Elena, Erkinova Sabrina - Korea,

5 Valeria Glukhy, Ayiza Serikkalieva - Ukraine,

6 Anelya Aslyalieva, Kenzhebay Ardak, Tlemisova Zhibek - Tatarstan,

7 Raimbaeva Gozalya, Duysebaeva Balausa - Uzbekistan,

8 Nazifa Abdullaeva, Perizat Bainiyazova - Uighur Autonomous Region.

The listeners were especially interested in the stories of Balausа, a Kazakh woman from Uzbekistan, and of Gozalуа, a Uzbek woman from Kazakhstan. Balausa declared the friendly attitude of the Uzbek people towards them, Gozalya expressed gratitude for the respect of local residents for the Uzbek people. Thus, they promoted close cooperation and tolerance between ethnic groups.

The celebratory meeting ended with Nargiz Khasenova, Milana Chalenko and Kamila Zhumagaliyeva (BTR-12) reviewing the slides developed by Aruay Nurlan (Gg-12). They noted that the presentation was devoted to the idea, interests and goals of friendship between peoples.
