In 2019, February 22-23, the Republican Olympiad in the field of “Foreign languages” was held at the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World languages. The competition was attended by students from universities in Astana, Almaty and Turkestan.
At the Olympiad participated students of Eurasian National University after L.N.Gumilyov of the Chinese Philology Department: 2nd year student Medelova Assem Ashankyzy (supervisor- Zhylkibekuli Bekkhozha), 3rd year student Zhakypbekova Zere Dumankyzy (supervisor- Duken MAsimhanuli) and Zholzhan Dana Zhaksylykkyzy.
The Olympiad consisted of 2 stages and students of Chinese philology passed all of the 2 stages without any difficulty, relying on their knowledge. As a result, Zhakypbekova Zere Dumankyzy (supervisor- Bekkhozha Zhylkibekuli) won the second category diploma.
At the aforementioned Olympiad, students of Chinese Philology confirmed high indicators of their knowledge.
