According to the results of the research work of 2022-2023, a 4th-year student of the specialty 6B01719 – "Foreign language: two foreign languages" Aizhan Khamit of the Department of Philology of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU under the guidance of Ph.D., Ass.professor of the Department Zhussupova Roza Flurovna, became the winner of the 2nd place in the republican competition of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, having defended a research project on the topic "Promoting the Instagram app on teaching English to beginners, learning vocabulary and teaching intercultural communicative competence". Also, the graduate thesis of Khamit Aizhan was performed on a similar topic. In addition, Aizhan became the winner of the 2nd place in the Republican level last year, introducing a scientific project on the topic "Pomodoro methodology as a tool for productive time management in improving reading skills in English" which had more than 50 jobs in the Republic.
