The development of corporate relations and academic collaboration, increasing the motivation of students in scientific activities and foreign language training contributed to the participation of a 3rd year student of the specialty 6B01719 - "Foreign language: two foreign languages" Khamit Aizhan of the Faculty of Philology of L.N. Gumilyov ENU under the guidance of candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor of the department Zhusupova Rosa Flyurovna in the competition of the project "IV International Book Edition", "Best Student" among the scientific and educational institutions of the Commonwealth of Independent States, organized by the Association of Legal Entities in the form of the association "National Movement" Bobek. Competitive works of participants were evaluated according to the following criteria: the degree of relevance for modern research in the field of language knowledge; scientific novelty, setting new goals and objectives and their complex versatile solution; compliance with the requirements for research and development of this type; originality of the solution of tasks; completeness and logical sequence of presentation of the material; theoretical significance of the obtained results; methodology and methods of the research; practical significance of the obtained results. So, according to the results of the international competition, Khamit Aizhan became the owner of a 1st degree diploma and a badge "The best student of the Commonwealth of Independent States-2022".
Also, following the results of the research work, Khamit Aizhan became the 2nd place winner in the republican competition of the MES RK, having defended a scientific project on the topic “The Pomodoro technique as a productive Time Management tool in Improving English Reading Skills” among more than 50 works of the republican level .
