Senior teacher Otyzbayeva K. Zh. and the chairman of the science club Kuzar Zh. N. hold the Seminar for Bachelor Students from various specialties on "Scholarships from Countries of Studied Languages; Language Olympiad Tasks"
Purpose: To introduce the types of scholarships available for studying foreign languages, and provide practical language Olympiad tasks.
Conduct of the Seminar:
Introduction to the seminar topic: a presentation on the types of scholarships available for studying foreign languages, with an explanation of the requirements and conditions for obtaining scholarships, including examples of successful case studies.
Senior teacher Otyzbayeva K. Zh. introduced with practical language Olympiad tasks: a presentation of typical tasks that may be encountered in foreign language Olympiads, including discussion of Olympiad rules and preparation resources.
Practical exercises: participants completed test tasks in a foreign language and Olympiad preparation tasks, and then discussed their answers and asked questions about the material covered.
Conclusion: Discussion of the results of the practical exercises and answers to additional questions from the participants.
Results:
Participants acquired useful knowledge about the various types of scholarships available for studying foreign languages. They became familiar with typical language Olympiad tasks and learned how to solve them. Also participants shared their experiences in learning foreign languages and engaged in discussions.
The seminar was rated by participants as useful and interesting.
