November 27, 2019, as part of the activities of “Students’ Club of Foreign Languages ” at theory and practice of foreign languages department, the club’s leader Anasheva D.K. and its members held the “Pronunciation contest” to demonstrate pronunciation skills among 2nd year students. The competition consisted of 6 rounds, where students demonstrated the correct articulation of sounds, word stress, knowledge of homonyms, as well as tongue twisters for various sounds. As a jury, native speakers of Israel Beyene Mogis, Kebir Mohhamed Jemal and Jacob Levitan were invited. Students were very pleased with the competition. The winner of the competition (1st place) was the FL-39 group, 2nd place-FL-23 and 3rd place FL-22.
