On April 14, 2022, the Department of Practical Kazakh Language, within the framework of the decade of Science of the Facultie of philology, organized a scientific and methodological seminar on the topic «Improving applied grammar exercises». Associate professors of the department Gulbaira Otelbay, Zhadyra Zhunisova and Ainur Naimanbay.
The scientific seminar was opened by the head of the department, professor Kuandyk Kulmanov. He wished the speakers good luck and emphasized the relevance of the topic. Within the framework of the seminar, the language problems that arose as a result of literal translation in the form of tracing paper, the role of tasks in teaching functional grammar and the use of declension cases of the possessive form of nouns were discussed in detail, examples and different types of exercises were given to reinforce the grammatical topic.
The scientific event was completed by the opinions and questions of the professor of the department Ulmeken Assanova and associate professors, Amangul Adilbek, also Altynai Ashenova.
