During the 2nd semester of 2022, within the framework of the international cooperation project of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU and Nanjing Pedagogical University, China, a study was conducted on the use of technology in teaching intercultural communicative competence among students of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology. The 1st year undergraduates of the specialty "Foreign Language: 2 Foreign Languages" actively completed project tasks on intercultural topics in English and Chinese, and thanks to the Grammarly, iFly programs, they checked the correctness of speech, accuracy of statements, tempo, fluency, rhythm and others. Undergraduates exchanged video and audio recordings and provided feedback on a certain criterion. Two undergraduates from Kazakhstan and China, Bismildina Dinara and Fing Ing, played the role of facilitators and helped to implement successful intercultural communication, removing difficulties in the technical support of the project and completing assignments for recording videos and dubbing foreign speech.
Professors R.N. Shadiev from China and R.F. Zhusupova from Kazakhstan organized project assignments for undergraduates, monitored control and difficulties in completing assignments. As a result of the work, 14 undergraduates were awarded certificates of long-term and productive cooperation.
