On April 30, 2020, the Department of Practical Kazakh Language held a scientific and methodological online seminar on Zoom platform. The candidates of Philology, associate professors G.Otelbay, G.Alimbek, A.Ashenova made reports on improving the teaching of the Kazakh language.
The event was opened by the head of the department K.Kulmanov. The head of the department of theory and practice of foreign languages Zh.Beisembayeva, the head of the department of Chinese philology D.Akbarkan, A.Alshabayeva, PhD student of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics and teaching staff of the Department of practical Kazakh language of Philology Faculty took part in this event.
The reports «Qazaq tilin oqytýda jańa tehnologıalardy paıdalaný» by Gauhar Alimbek and ««Qazaq tili» páni jáne OÁK: jańasha jetildirý tásilderi» by Gulbaıra Otelbay and Altynaı Ashenova aroused interest among the participants, touched upon current issues on teaching the Kazakh language, and improving the quality of teaching materials.
