From October 12 to October 14, 2022, the commission of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages held an intra-university stage (I stage) of the republican essay concourse among students and undergraduates on the proposed topic “Kazakhstan of my dreams” in honor of Republic Day.” in English
This stage was attended by 86 students and undergraduates from the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
In the first stage of the intra-university competition, the main criterion for the participants was to apply the principles and norms of conducting and compiling an essay: compliance with the structure, logical statement, adherence to the principles of cohesion and coherence, stylistic, grammatical and lexical literacy, etc. At this stage, the best skills and abilities of essay writing in English were shown by 3 students. According to the results of the competition, the 1st place was taken by a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Philology, the educational program "foreign language: two foreign languages" Kenzhebekkyzy Zhansaya. 2nd place went to the 3rd year student of the Faculty of International Relations, the educational program "International Relations and Diplomacy" Toksanaeva Malika. 3rd place was awarded to a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics, educational program: "Accounting and Audit" Tazhibek Rasul.
