On November 25, 2022, the republican scientific and methodological seminar «Issues of teaching the Kazakh language and modern pedagogical technologies» was held, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Asanova Ulmeken. On behalf of the Rector of the L.N.Gumilyov ENU, Academician Yerlan Sydykov, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Beysenbai Ardak opened the seminar with a welcoming speech and presented the Gumilyov medal. The moderator of the event, the head of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language Kulmanov Kuandyk introduced the participants to U.Asanova’s life and work.
In addition to teaching staff of L.N.Gumilyov ENU, about 130 scientists and teachers from foreign, Kazakh universities, as well as employees and managers of intellectual and secondary schools of our republic took part in the event.
The following people joined the congratulations: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kadasheva Karlygash (International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Ahmed Yasavi), Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Abrasilov Erbol (Deputy Head of the Editorial and Publishing Department of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan), Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Zhanbershieva Ulzhan (Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt ata) and Associate Professor of Nazarbayev University Zhumatayeva Zeynep (Minnesota, USA), head of the sector of the information center «K.D.Ushinsky Library» Saule Zhamansarieva (Russian Academy of Education, Moscow) and others.
Then the event was continued by the speakers of the seminar. Many reports were devoted to the scientific and pedagogical activities of the anniversarian - Professor U.O.Asanova, the author of more than 140 scientific and methodological works as well as various and new methods of teaching the Kazakh language.
At the end, the head of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language, Professor Kuandyk Sandybekuly recalled that the collection of the seminar will have an electronic version and thanked all participants, as well as his team for organizing this event.
