On November 17, 2022, senior teachers of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language of the Faculty of Philology A.K. Magzumbekova, L.B. Baibolat, A. Kurmashkyzy, A.T. Kozhaeva organized a round table on the topic «Religious extremism and terrorism are a danger to society». The round table was attended by students of the CT&T-12 group and students of the preparatory group DB-3, DB-6-2, DB-14-2.
The chief specialist of the Center for Islamic Law of KazGUU named after M. Narikbaev, religious scholar Zh. S. Sandybaev, head of the department of religious studies M. N. Smagulov and head of the department of practical Kazakh language K. S. Kulmanov were specially invited to the meeting. During the event, the topic was discussed in detail, and the students of the preparatory department Zhenisbek Umaraliev, Khalaubai Zholaman, Yerzhan Aizhanar asked questions to the guests.
