On April 04, 2022, at the FL theory and practice department, according to the annual plan of “Students' club of foreign languages”, under the guidance of the head of the club Anasheva D.K., the “Presentation contest” was conducted in English among the students of the group FL-22. As a jury, a foreign teacher of the department August Garsney, as well as the head of the department Beisenbayeva L.Zh., teachers Aldaberdykyzy A. and Verba Ye.A. were invited. The 2nd year students demonstrated deep knowledge in preparing presentations, the distinguishing features of which were creativity, accessibility, slide design and presentation of information. With beautiful structured slides available, the students successfully defended their presentations. The performances of the students were accompanied by visualization and were perceived very easily and harmoniously. The participants of the contest presented information on various topics, which allowed the students to gain new knowledge and broaden their horizons. They demonstrated their oratorical skills, fluent, coherent and competent speech in English, fully mastering the topic of the presentation. The students captured the attention of the jury members and made a great impression on them. According to the results of the performances, the following students were recognized as the best speakers: Matyu Minnu (1st place), Lanskova Karina (2nd place), Ahmet Sultan (3rd place). The winners of the contest were awarded with commemorative certificates. We express our deep gratitude to the teachers-mentors of the department August Garsney and Verba E.A. for the preparation of such intelligent students, for the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience for students.
