On April 29, 2021, at the FL theory and practice department, according to the plan of the “Students’ club of foreign languages ”, the contest for “The Best presentation” in English was conducted among the 2nd year students. Foreign teachers of our department August Garsney and Israel Morges, as well as the head of the department Beisembaeva Zh.A. were invited as the jury members. The 2nd year students demonstrated deep knowledge in preparing presentations, organizing texts and videos, music in a single environment. The distinguishing features of the presentations of the 2nd year students were creativity, accessibility, fluent English. The participants of the contest presented information on various topics that allowed the present students to acquire new knowledge and broaden their horizons. The jury members, in turn, shared their views on the given presentations, these comments were very beneficial for the students. According to the results of their speeches, the following students were recognized as the best speakers: Abdrasilov Abylaikhan (1st place), Serikbay Gaukhar (2nd place), Kamaradin Zhaksylyk and Ayimgazy Nazerke (3rd place). The participants of the contest were grateful to foreign teachers for their complete comments, for the opportunity to gain experience in public speaking.
