On June 18, 2019 Alipbay Bibol, the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages Theory and Practice held a seminar on the in the framework of the Faculty Seminar Plan. The theme of the seminar was "Education Equity in Kazakhstan in comparison with the USA". At the seminar, the speaker discussed the issue of "equality" in education. Socio-economic factors and ethno-cultural factors have been identified as factors affecting equity in education. At the end of the seminar, the speaker compared similar problems between Small-Scale Schools and Urban schools in the education systems of Kazakhstan and the United States. He also noted the various barriers faced by these types of schools in achieving equity in education.
