On January 28, 2023 at the FL theory and practice department within the framework of "Students' club of foreign languages" under the leadership of Anasheva D.K. a meeting was conducted with the 3rd year students of groups FL-31, FL-35, FL-32 and FL-34, who obtain excellent knowledge of educational disciplines and a high GPA. The main objective of these meetings is to deepen the knowledge of the English language, improve the academic vocabulary, develop fluency in emphatic constructions in students' speech.
At this meeting, the objective for the students was to write an essay in the IELTS format according to type 1. The main half of the students completed the task successfully, they adhered to the basic requirements for writing an essay. It was obvious, the works of the following students of the FL-34 group Kalieva Anel, Omurzakova Arna and Tleukhan Daria depicted the best results, the students demonstrated an advanced level of the academic vocabulary and pursued the main criteria for writing essays in the IELTS format.
These meetings with gifted students are extremely necessary, because they provide great opportunities to single out excellent students for the participation in diverse language Olympiads.
