The problem of choosing a profession is always facing high school students, and now it is becoming especially urgent in connection with changes in the labor market that are taking place in Kazakhstan. Schoolchildren have little information about many new professions, and traditional professions are undergoing significant changes.A professional choice made taking into account factors such as the demand of the labor market, the requirements of the profession for a person and his individual characteristics, becomes the most important condition for successful development of the profession, harmonious entry into labor activity, the formation of a competitive professional, and ultimately the well-being of his family.On November 6, 2019, as part of career guidance, the candidate of pedagogical sciences of the department of theory and practice of foreign languages of the philological faculty of L.N. Gumilev ENU R.F. Zhusupova together with an English teacher of the highest category, Z.K. Tuitina met with graduates of 38 school-lyceum of the city of Nur-Sultan.
The purpose of this event is the formation of 11 graders of conscious professional self-determination, corresponding to the individual characteristics of each student and the needs of society in the staff.
At the end of the meeting, there was a lively discussion about the rules for admission to L.N. Gumilyov ENU.
