On February 27, 2019 at the foreign languages theory and practice department, within the planned activity, the meeting of second-year students with representatives of the Astana Directorate of Religious Affairs took place.
The subject of the event was "Education of Youth in Religious Aspect" where the live, serious conversation of students with experts took place. Students found answers for the concerning questions on management of the fate of youth through mass media. The head of department Goyko Olga Aleksandrovna told that presently wide circulation of promotion of religions among youth in our country is observed. The bright examples of "recruitment" of youth were presented in the fragments of films, they revealed our illiteracy in the religious sphere.
Especially the mentioned promotion of religion is carried out on the Internet, through social networks. Generally teenagers having no created consciousness become the victims of propaganda and they are manageable. During the presentation consequences of promotion of religion and attempt of recruitment by distribution of the photos, posts, audio and videos containing the forbidden content were also discussed. Experts gave accurate manuals in case of tendencies to promotion of religion. It is very important to have literacy and education in the religious plan not to come under influence from outside. The conversation was informative, productive, in a friendly atmosphere.
