From November 1 to November 30, 2021 at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU at the Faculty of Philology, visiting professor Rustam Shadiev from Nanjing Pedagogical University (China) conducts two courses of lectures.
Thus, within the framework of the visit, Professor Rustam Shadiev reads training courses on the disciplines "Organization and planning of research work" and "Fundamentals of rhetoric and oratory" for 1st year undergraduates under the program M01719 - Training of teachers of a foreign language.
It should be noted that a foreign professor, speaking to undergraduates of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, considers questions about the publication procedure, the rules for writing and formatting scientific articles in international scientific journals with a non-zero impact factor included in Scopus and the Thomson Reuters Web of Science database, questions about academic integrity and ethics, as well as modern trends in scientific research in areas of application of innovative digital technologies in teaching foreign languages.
Moreover, during the stay of Professor Rustam Shadiev, his participation is planned in many scientific and organizational events held by the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages of the. L.N. Gumilyov ENU.
Currently, Rustam Shadiev works as a professor at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Nanjing Pedagogical University (China). His research interests include topics such as the use of advanced information technologies in the educational process, language teaching and intercultural education supported by modern educational technologies, multimedia technologies to create an authentic educational environment, and many others. Professor Rustam Shadiev is an honorary member of the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Professor Rustam Shadiev was selected in the top 10 most cited educational researchers in China in 2020.
