Оn November 29, 2019, at 224 auditorium at 16.00, a presentation of the book of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev "Era of Independence" for students of 3 and 4 courses of the specialty "Foreign Language: 2 Foreign Languages" took place. The event was dedicated to the Day of the First President, as this book was written by the first president of the Republic of Kazakhstan - N.A. Nazarbayev. The book was presented by teachers of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages - Ph.D., Acting Professor R.F. Zhusupova and PhD, associate professor G. Doszhan.
The “Era of Independence”, published in December 2017, was written in the genre of historical journalism and reflects the author’s view of the country's recent history and its future. The main attention is paid to the characterization of the stages of the construction of a sovereign state from the moment of its foundation, showing the internal logic and decision-making mechanisms in response to internal and external challenges for 28 years of Independence.
Students of ShT-43 groups spoke about important development strategies of Kazakhstan as an independent state. All participants in the meeting learned about the history of the Kazakh people, the problems Kazakhstan faced after gaining independence, how it dealt with them, and also what goals and objectives the country has set for itself today.
