In compliance with the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 599 of November 28, 2017 “On Awarding Nominal Prizes in the Field of Science and State Scientific Scholarships in the year 2017” by the results of the competition among young scientists of Kazakhstan, senior lecturer of the Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Chair of the Philological Faculty, Doctor PhD Damira Akynova became the owner of the state research scholarship for young scientists in 2017. Damira Akynova has been working at the Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Chair since 2009. In 2015 she successfully defended her doctoral thesis in the specialty “6D020500 – Philology” under the scientific supervision of Doctor of Philology, Professor Sholpan Zharkynbekova and Doctor of Philology, Professor Atyrgul Agmanova on the theme “Kazakh-English Language Contacts: Code Switching in the Speech of Kazakh Bilinguals”.
