Teachers of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language of the Faculty of Philology of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University organized by prof. G. R. Alimbek., Associate Professor Zh. A. Zhunisova On April 21, 2023, a festive event dedicated to «May 9 - Victory Day» was held. The main objectives of the event, firstly, to collect information about the exploits of Kazakhstanis in the Great Patriotic War; secondly, cultivating love for one's country, contributing to its prosperity, imitating students of the path of life, the merits of heroes who received the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for courage in the Great Patriotic War; thirdly, subsequent manifestations and identification of the documentary consequences of the war among students, assessment of the quality of a person’s qualities, such as honesty, humanity, friendship, compassion, calmness, instilling kindness, morality and other feelings in their thoughts.
The event was held in two stages, the first stage, students celebrate a documentary film about the Great Patriotic War. In connection with the film «Who died for their Motherland», the students shared their thoughts, views, and opinions. They also talked about the consequences of the Great Patriotic War. What follows is a question and answer. A slide about the second exhibition, parables about the great Motherland, native land, was shown by a student of the 1st faculty of international relations Kalibekova Nazerke.
Students read poems about the motherland, native land. The event was attended by students of the faculties of natural sciences, international relations, shared their views, answered questions, remembered the exploits of the heroes.
The guests noted that there are many talented young people in our educational institution, talented both in education and in creativity. They wished the students success in their studies and success in life.
