Today, a library is more than just a repository of books where we go to find information. It is known that the necessary literature can always be found on the Internet; new technologies of interactive information transfer are constantly being created. The library was and will be a kind of place for information materials, a place where you can learn a lot of interesting and useful things. Thus, on 22.02.2021, students of groups FL -11 and FL-14, curators of groups Doszhan G.A., Ibragimova K.E., as well as teachers of Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages of the Philological Faculty of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University virtually visited the university library. Thanks to the representative of the Otyrar library, visitors got into the walls of the reading rooms, learned all the necessary information on how to choose literature, how to use the vast possibilities of the student library. The library has an extensive fund, books and textbooks, as well as literature published by the teaching staff of the university from which they are in the public domain. Anyone can use books from the library fund. All steps of obtaining services were explained in detail, answers to numerous questions of students were received. The meeting turned out to be interesting and informative not only for students, but also for the teaching staff of the department.
