On October 2, the Faculty of Philology of the Eurasian National University of L.N. Gumilyov organized a festival of languages, within which the teachers of the department of Russian philology held an event among students of non-linguistic specialties.
In a friendly and positive atmosphere, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Russian Philology, L.G. Mukuzhanova congratulated students with the beginning of the week of the festival of languages. Professor noted that our unity lies in diversity - national, linguistic and cultural, and in strengthening of moral bases and international tolerance. The event dedicated to the Day of Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan began with the reading of the poems about the motherland and love to mother in Chinese by students of specialty "Tourism -11" Kuanbek Balgyn and Sagatbek Zhuldyz (teacher L.G. Mukuzhanova).
The program, organized by senior teacher A.O. Abaganova, included also following art numbers: the Spanish dance performance "Carmen", staged by third-year students of the specialty "Tourism" (teacher A.O. Abaganova); the musical performance of the first-year student of the specialty "Tourism" Akpisheva Ayaulym, who played on the ancient Kazakh reed instrument Shankobyz; Kazakh national dance, which was performed by first-year students Akpisheva Ayaulym and Abdrakhmanovа Sayanа (teacher G. U. Zhantogulovа). At the end of the event, Professor L.G. Mukuzhanova thanked all students for their active participation and spectators for their attention, and expressed hope to achieve the objective of this program - motivation for a deeper study of the language and identity of the peoples of the world culture.
