Since 2017 the School-Gymnasium No. 22 in Astana has been a branch of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages of the Philological Faculty. Delegation of the Department of L. N. Gumilev ENU – head of the department Beisembayeva Zh. A., coordinator teacher for professional practice of the department Zhasarova D. G. and the coordinator teacher for the career-oriented work of the department Tulegenova A. M. presented to the leadership of the school-gymnasium represented by the director Zhunusova B. K. the work plan of the Department branch for the new 2018-2019 school year and discussed the upcoming joint events. During the meeting, the final conference on pedagogical practice and an English Language Olympiad for the schoolchildren to be held at the School-gymnasium No. 22 were planned. (In 2018, school-gymnasium No. 22 won the second place of the republican Olympiad in English) The meeting also resolved the issue of involving teachers of English language and experienced school methodologists to the planned international scientific activities of the department (an international seminar in April 2019, an international student conference with schoolchildren, online seminars, etc.).
