The L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University with the Association of English Teachers in Kazakhstan, American Corner supported by the Regional English Language Office (RELO) at the U.S. Embassy, is implementing the project to promote English language education based on the resources of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).
On 22d of January 2020, school and university teachers, Master students and students, who have applied for the project, passed the English language proficiency test and were interviewed at the University. More than 89 candidates - teachers of the English language, STEM teachers from schools, universities, and students of these specialties - were invited for this stage.
Project facilitator – Roza Zhussupova conducted the interview. Based on the results of the tests and the interview the group of 30 people was formed.
