On January 30, at the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, an open online curatorial hour "Adaldyk: Public Mechanisms for Fighting Corruption" was held. The event was prepared and conducted by the students of the FL-34 group under the guidance of the group curator E.A. Verba. The guests of the event were the head of the department Zh.A. Beisembaeva, as well as the teachers of the department. The peculiarity of this event is that it was held in three languages. During the curatorial hour, the etymology of the word "corruption", the history of this phenomenon in the world and in Kazakhstan were considered. Also, students presented the most important chapters of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on corruption", statistics of the level of corruption in the world and in our country, and measures to combat corruption used in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, students of the FL-34 group prepared a video on the topic of combating corruption. Then Verba E.A. held an interactive conversation with guests and participants of the event, who actively expressed their point of view on a given topic. At the end of the curatorial hour, the audience was presented with poems by M. Auezov and S. Marshak performed by Sanakova Perizat and curator of the group E.A. Verba.
