March 26, 2021 the Department of Russian Philology of L.N. Gumilyova opened her branch on the basis of the GKP on the PVC "Lyceum School No. 60" of the Akimat of Nur-Sultan.
The opening ceremony was attended by the dean of the philological faculty of L.N. Gumilyov, Ph.D. A.B. Beisenbay, director of school-lyceum No. 60 A.Zh. Dyusenova, Head of the Department of Russian Philology, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor K.R. Nurgali, Head of Career and Business Partnership Department, Ph.D. D.J. Kenesbaeva, Chief Specialist of the Career and Business Partnership Department, PhD D. B. Kaskabaev, as well as teachers and doctoral students of the department and students of the school.
Cooperation of the Department of Russian Philology with the Lyceum School began in December 2019. The purpose of opening a branch is to improve the quality of training of specialists, conduct joint research projects, provide methodological assistance to teachers, and manage scientific projects of teachers and students.
Currently, a plan for joint work of the school-lyceum and the branch of the department of Russian philology has been developed, consisting of the following main activities: participation in international scientific-practical conferences, seminars, joint publications of teachers of the department of Russian philology and teachers of the school-lyceum, preparation of joint teaching aids, conducting students of the Philological Faculty of Research on the basis of a school-lyceum, etc.
The functioning of this branch of the department will strengthen the practical orientation of the training of future teachers in order to meet the needs of schools in qualified specialists.
