On May 5, the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of Philology of L.N. Gumilyov ENU under the leadership of Zh.A. Beisembaeva. an online lecture on the topic “Modern competencies of foreign language teacher in the 21st century: ENU Experience” was organized and conducted. Lecturer - Zhusupova R.F., candidate of pedagogical sciences, acting professor, spoke about the history of the creation of the department and the contribution of scientists and graduates to the development of both domestic science and schools in Kazakhstan. This lecture was timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of L.N. Gumilyov ENU as one of the young Kazakhstani universities, which has achieved impressive victories and large-scale successes in a quarter of a century.
