Professor of the Department of the Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages Doctor of Philology G. I. Baigunisova received an invitation from the Nukus Pedagogical Institute to conduct online lecture courses and supervise a master's thesis in the framework of international cooperation. The first lecture "Listening as an interactive process" took place on December 9th. The 3rd year students of the Pedagogical Institute actively participated in the discussion of the issues of teaching listening skills. The lecture was held interactively on the Zoom platform. The session participants were interested in the issues of the correct selection of material for listening, the development of assignments in the format of distance learning. The next lecture will take place on December 11th.
The cooperation will last until the end of this academic year, during which G. I. Baigunisova will read two courses of lectures ("Integrated course of teaching a foreign language" and "Methods and technologies of teaching languages"), will also supervise the master's thesis. Great support and assistance in organizing the online educational process is provided by the head of the Department of English Language and Literature of the Nukus Pedagogical State Institute, Tazhieva Aliya Utebayevna and the head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, L.N. Gumilyova ENU Beisembaeva Zhanna Alibievna.
