On April 24, 2021, at the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, an open online curatorial hour “Life and work of L.N. Gumilyov ". The event was prepared and conducted by the students of the FL-34 group under the guidance of the group curator E.A. Verba. The teachers of the department were invited to the event.
The guests were presented with a story about the life of the outstanding historian, ethnologist and writer L.N. Gumilyov, footage from his life and from the Gumilyov Museum at the Eurasian National University were shown. The curatorial hour passed in a creative atmosphere, the students of the group read poems by Lev Nikolaevich Gumilyov, as well as his father, Nikolai Stepanovich Gumilyov, and his mother, Anna Akhmatova. A short video clip about the life and work of L.N. Gumilyov. Then the curator of the group Verba E.A. conducted an online quiz based on the results of the knowledge gained, in which the students of the group and invited teachers took part. At the end of the event, the curator's parting words were heard, as well as words of gratitude from the participants and guests of the curatorial hour.
