Russian Philology Department annually actively conducts educational work in groups studying the Russian language.
On April 30, 2021, senior lecturer of the Department of Russian Philology Azkenova Zh.K. held an online hour "History and modernity of ENU through the eyes of students", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU and the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The students prepared a detailed presentation and a video with material about our university, told about the outstanding Eurasian scientist L.N. Gumilyov, about the university's education, about the faculties, youth organizations of the University SENIM, «Zhas Otan», «Oner Ortalygy», international cooperation, the scientific library and the «Otyrar» Foundation.
In turn, Zh. K. Azkenova added information about the leaders, museums, scientific conferences and achievements of the University; outstanding alumni of Alma mater; drew attention to the fact that in the conditions of the pandemic there are virtual reception rooms and tours of museums, online consultations of librarians; congratulated the younger generation on anniversaries.
