On October 23, 2021, doctoral students of the 2nd year of the specialty «Training of teachers of the Kazakh language and literature» of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology held an online intellectual competition «Leader of the XXI century» among students in the specialty «Kazakh language and Literature», «Philology», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of this event is to increase students' motivation to study, to form organizational skills, to instill in the younger generation a sense of national spirit and patriotism.
Six teams took part in the competition: «Alash», «Shyn», «Zhas mamandar», «Zenbirek», «Til zhanashyrlary», «Smart team». The host of the competition, 2nd-year doctoral student Syrym Zhanzhigitov, familiarized the teams with the rules of the game. In three rounds of «Baiga», «Zhorga», «Doda», questions were asked about the Kazakh language and literature, methodology, history of Kazakhstan.
The game was very intense, according to the results of the competition, the team «Zenbirek» took the first place, the team «Zhas Mamandar» - the second place, the team «Shyn» - the third place. The winners of the competition were awarded with special diplomas and prizes, as well as certificates were issued to all participants.
