An online discussion was held on the topic "Say NO to drugs!" was prepared by 1st year students in groups (PGS-11, PGS-17, G-15, Guide-11) together with senior teachers Nurbekova G.Zh., Zhusupova G.M. Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Philology. Statistical data on drug addiction in the Republic of Kazakhstan among the children and adolescent for the current year, general signs of drug use, questions about methods of timely prevention, which include such activities as showing short films about drug addicts, where drug addicts should be shown during "withdrawal" , short interviews with the story and problems arising in connection with the use of drugs were discussed. One of the key pledges of drug addiction prevention is trusting relationships and open communication between children and parents. Educational institutions, where prevention should be carried out in an accessible form, cannot be left aside.
Based on the results of the online discussion, some students, as well as invited teachers of the department Niyazbekova A.A., Nurlybay A.M. expressed their opinion on this issue.
