April 13, 2020, teachers of the foreign languages department M.Zh. Tussupbekova, A.M. Mukhtarkhanova organized and held online-discussion «Legal and organizational framework for the fight against extremism and terrorism in Kazakhstan» with the first-year master students «Transport, transport equipment and technologies», «Radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications» specialties. Thanks to modern informative technologies, teachers of foreign languages department S.K. Mussina, G.Zh. Nurbekova, A.A. Duisengalieva took part in this discussion.
Master students Birlan Abylai, Daniar Aruna, Kalkuzov Zhandos, Zhanatova Arailym, Zhapar Temirlan, Kaskataev Nazarym, Makazhan Gulperzent, Torebekova Sumbat, Sheripov Almas, Ergazhina Zhamal prepared slides about the causes and various types of extremism and terrorism, reasons for the spread and the situation in Kazakhstan. Particular attention was paid to the problem of religious, spiritual, political, ecinomic, informational, and youth extremism. At the end of the discussion, master students expressed their ideas of avoiding extremism and terrorism in our country. They unanimously told that one of the most effective ways to prevent terrorism is self-development of a person, spiritual and religious literacy, and a culture of self-education.
